The role oversees the coordination, execution, and supervision of food safety and quality assurance protocols for the plant, guaranteeing the production of superior, sanitary goods for the client. Based in Tema, the Food Safety Coordinator will answer to the Quality Assurance Manager.
• In charge of carrying out and maintaining the plant's HACCP program, or food safety management system. • Keep an eye on CCPs and OPRPs every day, and when required, take corrective measures. This entails confirming CCP records and entering discoveries into a database. • Make that the QMS processes are implemented in their entirety. - Internal audit handles quality assurance-related matters and notifies the management representative of suggested modifications. This covers the necessary documentation and approval of job instructions, process forms, procedures, and other relevant papers. • Presents weekly and monthly reports to the plant manager and quality assurance manager as part of group reporting. Und. • In charge of overseeing the factory's hygiene and GMP requirements while collaborating closely with the hygienist. He or she communicates with the cleaning crew company to guarantee that GMP and hygienic requirements are met. • Bring disciplinary action recommendations to the Quality Assurance Manager and Human Resource Manager for employees who violate factory food safety and GMP regulations. • Determine the staff members' and the food safety team's training needs in accordance with the factory's food safety program, then suggest training. • Oversees the factory's change management program to guarantee the seamless integration of new systems and the observance of food safety and quality requirements. • Is charge of upholding the factory's foreign body prevention program.
• Food Science BSc or a comparable degree. • Strong familiarity with certification procedures and quality management systems, including FSSC 22000, the British Retail Consortium (BRC), and other Global Food Safety Initiative standards. • Strong background in the food industry's use of chemical, physical, microbiological, and other laboratory analyses. • Three years or more of relevant hands-on experience after graduation, with one year spent in a managerial capacity • Outstanding written and vocal communication abilities, including the ability to write reports and give group presentations • proficiency with SAP and MS Office programs • The capacity to oversee, plan, and keep an eye on things. • Powerful, energetic, self-starting, and team-motivating personality • Capacity to function under pressure
