Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Event Planning Advisor to join our team. The Event Planning Advisor will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the planning, coordination, and execution of events. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their event objectives and preferences, and will offer creative solutions and strategic recommendations to ensure the success of each event

Responsibilities

  • Consultation and Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their event vision, goals, and requirements.
    • Offer expert advice and strategic recommendations on event planning, logistics, and execution.
    • Develop customized event strategies tailored to meet client objectives and budget constraints.

 

  • Event Coordination and Execution:
    • Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, and timeline management.
    • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of events.
    • Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly and according to plan.

 

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the event planning process.
    • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or issues.

 

  • Creative Development:
    • Contribute creative ideas and concepts to enhance the overall event experience.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop innovative event concepts and themes.

 

  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and maximizing value for clients.
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Proficiency in event planning software and tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
