Factory Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Factory Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, and promoting a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the factory, including production, maintenance, and quality control. • Supervise and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support. • Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. • Monitor and control production costs, identifying areas for improvement. • Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products. • Conduct regular quality control checks, ensuring products meet company standards. • Troubleshoot production issues, identifying and implementing solutions. • Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure equipment is properly maintained. • Communicate with other departments, such as quality assurance and logistics. • Develop and implement process improvements, increasing efficiency and productivity. • Manage inventory, ensuring adequate supplies and minimizing waste. • Enforce company policies and procedures, maintaining a positive work environment. • Conduct performance evaluations, providing feedback and coaching to employees. • Identify training needs, developing and implementing training programs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment. • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations. • Familiarity with quality control and assurance procedures. • Experience with inventory management and control. • Strong analytical and organizational skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively.
