Machine Operator - Plastic Manufacturing

Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastic processing machines, ensuring efficient production of high-quality products, and meeting safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plastic processing machines, including extruders, injection molders, and blow molders • Set up and adjust machines for production runs, ensuring accurate settings and parameters • Monitor machine performance, identifying and addressing issues promptly • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality protocols • Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to ensure optimal machine performance • Meet production targets, while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience operating plastic processing machines • Strong understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and machine operations • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and quality control documents • Excellent mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and communication skills • Experience with specific plastic processing machines • Knowledge of quality control principles and lean manufacturing techniques • HND or Wassce Certificate
