Quality Assurance Tester

Overview

The software tester will be in charge of writing test cases, carrying out manual testing, and making sure that all projects adhere to quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure software applications meet requirements and are defect-free. • Test Case Development: Create and maintain detailed test cases to cover various scenarios and user workflows. • Test Execution: Perform manual or automated testing to identify defects, bugs, or issues in software applications. • Defect Reporting: Document and report defects found during testing, including steps to reproduce and expected results. • Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations. • Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with project goals and requirements. • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new testing tools to continuously improve testing processes and techniques.

Requirements

• Execution of Tests and Manual Assessing abilities • Analytical Proficiency • Proficiency in developing test cases and familiarity with quality assurance procedures • Exceptional detail-orientedness Capacity to operate both alone and remotely • Strong problem-solving abilities Knowledge of automated testing technologies is advantageous • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as computer science
