User Experience Designer

Overview

Activities include design thinking, user research, visual design, UX design, and prototyping will fall within the purview of the user experience designer. Although some work can be done remotely, the primary location of this employment is in Accra.

Responsibilities

• Conduct User Research: Gather insights into user behavior, motivations, and pain points through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to inform design decisions. • Create User Personas: Develop personas to represent ideal users, guiding design decisions and ensuring solutions meet user needs. • Design User Journeys: Map out user interactions with products or services, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for innovation. • Develop Wireframes and Prototypes: Create low-fidelity sketches and high-fidelity prototypes to visualize and test user interface concepts. • Design User Interfaces: Craft intuitive and visually appealing interfaces, considering typography, color, and layout to enhance user engagement. • Conduct Usability Testing: Plan and conduct testing sessions to validate design decisions, identify usability issues, and inform iterative design improvements.

Requirements

• Skills in User Research and Design Thinking • Skills in UX and Visual Design • Proficiency in prototyping with a background in user research and usability testing • Proficiency in design software like Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities • Capacity to function well in a group setting • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as design or human-computer interaction
