We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, from sourcing to payment, to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods, services, and works. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of procurement principles and practices.
• Source and procure goods, services, and works in accordance with organizational policies and procedures • Conduct market research and analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers • Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers • Prepare and manage requests for quotations, requests for proposals, and tender documents • Evaluate bids and proposals, and recommend awards to management • Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality goods and services • Monitor and report on procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with business objectives • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or related field • Strong negotiation and communication skills • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office
