Overview

The neurodiversity center's daily operations will be supervised by the business support manager, who will also be in charge of effective resource management, vendor coordination, auxiliary staff management, and compliance with health and safety regulations. This position also involves assisting with the Executive Director's administrative needs and making sure the center runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Keep an eye on the center's daily operations to guarantee efficacy and efficiency. • Organize equipment and facility maintenance and repairs. • Resolve operational problems as soon as possible and put remedies in place to avoid delays. • In order to support the center's activities, effectively manage and distribute resources. • Keep track of your inventory and make sure that each department has enough supplies. • Maintaining cost-effective resource usage requires budget monitoring and control. • In order to guarantee efficient service delivery, oversee the operations staff and administer training as needed. • Create work schedules and make sure there is enough staffing to meet operational requirements. • Encourage an environment that is both productive and positive for the operations staff. • Establish and preserve connections with suppliers and service providers. • Initiate contract negotiations and guarantee prompt delivery of products and services. • Verify adherence to health and safety laws and guidelines. • Perform risk assessments and safety audits on a regular basis. • Administer and supervise health and safety protocols. • Create paperwork, keep track of correspondence and records, and schedule things for the Executive Director's office. • Plan and prepare for meetings by assembling materials and taking care of the technical aspects. • After meetings, follow up on the action items.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in management, business administration, or a similar discipline. • Demonstrated expertise in high administrative or business management roles. • Foreign exposure and prior experience working for nonprofits or in the healthcare industry are advantages. • Familiarity with service level agreements and contract administration. • Excellent initiative, planning, and multitasking skills. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities. • Proficiency with resource management tools and the Microsoft Office Suite. • Familiarity with health and safety laws and guidelines. • The capacity to bargain with suppliers and handle finances.
