As an Officer of Strategy and Business Planning, you will be instrumental in propelling our company's expansion and advancement. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be a member of the Business Development Team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in this role, including IT, training, and customer relations. Creating strategic business plans and initiatives will be your primary duty in order to guarantee that our company's goals are met.
• To convey ideas and activities to senior management and stakeholders, create thorough business plans and presentations. • Keep abreast of market trends and industry best practices to guarantee that our business continues to be inventive and competitive. • Through thorough study and analysis, gain a grasp of both current and potential businesses, including their offerings, clientele, rivals, the market as a whole, and emerging trends. • Recognize the perspectives of key players regarding near-term growth in general and with regard to particular growth efforts. • Provide a thorough financial analysis with predictions to assist in corporate decision-making and resource allocation. The analysis should include all assumptions, drivers, and financial statements for the next three to five years, accounting for a conservative, base, and aggressive case. • Create strategic plans and programs to boost market share and business growth. • Perform a comprehensive addressable market study of the company's primary markets, evaluate the key industry trends that are influencing the company, and explain the potential effects of these trends on the company. • Examine research reports and carry out primary research to determine the ideal investor or buyer type and gauge demand for the company's current offerings. • Determine the direct and indirect rivals for the current and prospective revenue channels, as well as prospective competitors in the future. • Establish a go-to-market plan that includes, if appropriate, experimenting with several marketing avenues. • Work together with cross-functional teams to make sure that strategy goals are executed and aligned. • Analyze and assess how well current business strategies are working, and suggest changes or enhancements as necessary.
• Preferably, a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a similar analytical field. • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a position that is comparable to it. • Planning, forecasting, and business analytical skills in financial management; previous experience at an early-stage company and the ability to submit successful grant applications are advantages. • Advanced knowledge in Excel. two or more years of hands-on experience creating and managing financial models using Excel • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Excel pivot tables, SQL queries, graphing, and other analytical and presenting tools • Proficiency in carrying out market research, encompassing the examination and synthesis of research papers as well as carrying out primary research • Demonstrated ability to create and carry out effective strategic initiatives. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to convert information into insights that can be put to use. • Strong presenting and communication abilities, with the capacity to explain complicated concepts in an understandable way. • Incredibly meticulous and well-organized, able to oversee several tasks and adhere to strict deadlines. • Strong leadership qualities and the capacity to influence and work with teams from other departments. • The capacity to write and speak French Being fluent is a big plus. • Innate curiosity and an emphasis on the "big picture"
