As an IT technician, your role would involve providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and ensuring network security. You would also be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, conducting system upgrades, and assisting users with IT-related problems.
Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including VLANs and core switches. Configure and monitor firewall systems to ensure security and compliance. Manage and support IP phone systems, focusing on Avaya technologies. Oversee attendance and door access systems to ensure functionality and security. Operate and maintain CCTV systems for monitoring and security purposes. Perform regular maintenance and backups for Hyper-V servers. Manage IT assets, including inventory control and maintenance schedules. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. A minimum of 5 years' Experience
