Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

Overview

For our mangrove reforestation project, we are looking for a careful and analytical Monitor & Evaluation (M&E) Manager to supervise data collection, guarantee adherence to the carbon framework, and oversee monitoring and reporting. The ideal applicant will create data frameworks, guarantee that procedures are followed, and offer thorough reporting on the status and results of projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and put into action data collection strategies. • Create and manage the project's data frameworks. • Assure timely and accurate data entry and gathering. • Keep an eye on project activities to make sure the Verra VM03 approach is being followed. • Verify compliance with carbon credit requirements by conducting routine audits. • To guarantee that project operations are in line with the carbon framework, offer direction and assistance. • gathering and analyzing data on biodiversity and ecology for the project. • Observation and Documentation: • Monitor the status of the project using the defined metrics and indicators. • Create thorough monitoring reports for stakeholders both inside and outside the company. • Analyze data to determine areas that need improvement and assess the impact of the initiative.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in biology, statistical sciences, environmental science, or a similar discipline. • five years minimum of monitoring and evaluation experience, ideally in forestry or environmental initiatives. • Strong familiarity with environmental science data collecting and analysis techniques. • Familiarity with GIS applications. • Knowledge of the Verra methodology VM03 and experience working on carbon credit projects. • Proficiency in writing and speaking English; familiarity with Ewe is beneficial. • The capacity to function in a multicultural and international team setting. • Dedication to women's empowerment and gender equality.
