MEP ENGINEER

Overview

MEP engineer is responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various construction projects. They ensure that these systems meet building codes, are energy-efficient, and function effectively within the building structure. MEP engineers work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to deliver safe and sustainable building designs.

Responsibilities

• Create, organize, and manage the MEP system installation. • Organize in concert with engineers, architects, and other relevant parties. • Verify that safety and quality requirements are being followed by conducting site inspections. • Investigate and fix MEP problems while building. • Compile and evaluate technical requirements and drawings. • Oversee MEP system project costs and schedules.

Requirements

• Engineering bachelor's degree in plumbing, electrical, or mechanical. • over ten years' experience in MEP engineering. • strong familiarity with industry standards and MEP systems. • knowledgeable about MEP design software. • exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
