Health and Safety Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Supervisor to lead our health and safety efforts. As a Health and Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive health and safety program that ensures a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and standards • Conduct hazard assessments and risk analyses to identify and mitigate potential hazards • Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend corrective actions • Provide health and safety training and orientation to employees • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a safety-first culture • Monitor and analyze health and safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field • Professional certification (e.g. OSHA, CSP, CRSP) • 5+ years of experience in health and safety management • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, laws, and industry standards • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills • Ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions
