A procurement manager is responsible for overseeing the purchasing of goods and services for a company. They work to ensure that the organization obtains high-quality products at the best possible prices. Procurement managers negotiate with suppliers, manage vendor relationships, and monitor inventory levels to maintain adequate stock. Additionally, they analyze market trends, develop procurement strategies, and streamline the purchasing process to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Operations in Warehouses: • In charge of overseeing the company's whole warehouse operations. • Utilizing the SAP module, manage and supervise all warehouse activities and reporting. • Maintain open lines of communication and coordination among unit team members to guarantee transparent supply chain operations. Control of Inventory: • Processes for inventory control are observed and maintained. • Keep a record of every process involving tools and equipment. • Manage facility procurement requests and keep precise records of incoming inventory. • Make sure inventory records are accurate by preparing and updating the required paperwork. • Oversee the inter-unit transfers of inventories. • Verify all imported or locally sourced items have quality certificates. Reporting and Budget: • Respect the department's budget guidelines on the use of inventories. • For the General Manager, create and evaluate daily and monthly MIS reports. Report any deviations right away. Logistics and Security: • Sort and arrange items based on their location and criteria. • Make sure every material is as secure as possible. • Set up shipments as needed. Human Resource Management: • Train and orient retail employees. • Encourage, coach, and reprimand staff members to preserve work performance. • Keep an eye on the job being done by inventory control employees and make the required adjustments.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or A similar discipline. • Five years minimum of verified experience in supply chain management, sourcing, or procurement. • Strong contract administration and negotiating abilities. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. • Understanding of market trends and best practices in procurement. • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and procurement applications. • Adept in organizing and paying attention to detail. • The capacity to fulfill deadlines and work under duress.
