A sales and marketing executive is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote and sell products or services. They work to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with clients, and oversee marketing campaigns to drive sales. This role involves analysing market trends, setting sales targets, and collaborating with various teams to achieve business objectives.
• Find new customers; business-to-business sales • Get technical audits ready for the acquisition of new clients. • Stay updated on mergers and acquisitions, client development, and new business and product prospects. • Assure prompt and high-quality customer service. Lead the team and make suitable recommendations for tactics to guarantee a successful and efficient brokerage service. • Reaching monthly goals by exploring opportunities for new business acquisition and expanding current companies through cross-selling. • Collaborate closely with the head of sales and marketing to gather data for outside organizations such as rival brokers and insurance firms. • Collaborate with fellow team members to enhance market share, preserve the company's reputation, provide excellent customer service, and hold onto all accounts. • Assist the department in developing strategies that will assist it meet its goals. • Gather insurance premiums prior to the start, implementation, or renewal of policies. • Coordinate with the other departments to guarantee that no claims are overlooked. • Make sure supervisors get weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as soon as needed.
• A bachelor's degree in marketing, management, insurance, or business administration, or a similar discipline. • A Chartered Insurance Professional or Diploma in Insurance will be advantageous. • Three (3) years minimum of experience in a company development capacity. • Understanding of insurance law and underwriting procedures • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) proficiency • Proficiency in Customer Service • Capability of organizing, directing, and carrying out tasks Capability of recognizing and assessing potential solutions to issues Capability of making prompt judgments • The capacity to set objectives, aims, and goals
