Maintenance Officer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Officer to join a manufacturing team. As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production facilities and equipment by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. Your expertise will help minimize downtime, reduce costs, and maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and facilities • Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures and breakdowns • Implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime • Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance • Source and procure spare parts and materials • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Three or more years of experience in a comparable sector or maintenance Strong mechanical and technical capabilities • The capacity to decipher and understand technical instructions and schematics • Exceptional intellectual and problem-solving abilities • Proficiency in both communication and teamwork • Knowledge of quality and safety procedures • Further study in a relevant discipline beyond high school (e.g., mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance)
