Security Systems Technician

Overview

Installation, upkeep, and repair of diverse security systems will fall under your purview as a Security Systems Technician. Responsibilities

• CCTV systems should be installed, configured, and maintained to ensure maximum security coverage and functionality. • Install and oversee access control technologies, such as biometric and key card entry systems. • Automate and troubleshoot garage doors and gates to guarantee security and seamless functioning. • Install and maintain fire and intrusion alarm systems while according to safety guidelines. • Install and keep up time and attendance systems to ensure precise reporting and staff monitoring. • To save downtime, quickly diagnose and fix any security system problems. • Make that all of the system's components are operating as intended by conducting routine testing and inspections. • Assist clients with technical issues and instruct them on how to operate installed security equipment. • Keep thorough records of all installations, upkeep, and repairs.

Requirements

• Three years minimum of experience installing and maintaining security systems. • Adept at operating time and attendance systems, access control systems, CCTV, gate automation, fire and intruder alarms, and garage door automation. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities. • The capacity to function both alone and together. • It is necessary to have a valid Class A or B driver's license or experience driving a manual Transmission.
