Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Associate.

Responsibilities

• Financial planning, regulating, forecasting, and budgeting for different projects. • creating financial statements, management reports, and budgets for management. • Assure the company's tax savings and compliance with tax and statutory returns about filing and payment. • Analyze expenditures and revenues for the company's various projects. • Create financial reports that include cash flows, balance sheets, performance analyses, profit and loss accounts, and customer profitability reports. • Provide guidance on methods for the company's cost control and revenue growth. • Uphold the integrity of the Leger and make sure internal control and accounting rules are followed. • Create and put into place internal controls and financial systems. • Maintain complete adherence to all regulations by communicating with relevant parties to resolve issues as they arise and to prevent violations. • Make that all month-end close procedures are carried out in compliance with financial controls, schedules, and requirements. • handling of bank payments and invoice processing • accountable for the depreciation computation and the fixed asset schedule • In line with accrual and matching notions • Controls Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable • Trial Balance line-item reconciliation on a monthly basis • Familiarity with and comprehension of IFRS

Requirements

• Understanding of the concepts and procedures of finance • Outstanding ability to communicate • Precision and meticulous attention to detail • Proficiency with MS Excel and financial software • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar discipline • Skills related to managing financial statements and financial reporting • Excellent Analytical Capabilities • Strong communication abilities to provide upper management with financial information. • Gaining expertise in financial forecasting is advantageous. • Academic Background ACCA, ICA, CIMA, or similar experience; a bachelor's degree in Finance; further knowledge solid knowledge of taxes, proficient usage of QuickBooks, • Gas and oil industry experience is advantageous. • IT/Computer Skills competent with accounting software and Microsoft Office appliances
