With strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, the assistant business manager/business development specialist will manage administrative tasks, find new opportunities, cultivate relationships, and contribute to strategic projects in order to support the company's business operations and growth.
Financial and Administrative Supervision: • Oversee the daily operations of the private dining establishment and the creation of chocolate truffles, making sure that the priorities of chocolate and cuisine are seamlessly aligned. To guarantee a project's successful completion, manage tasks and deadlines. • Encourage the administration of meetings • In charge of managing emails, phones, and external communications • Revise FAQs • In charge of accounting checklists, filing, bookkeeping, and invoicing. • In charge of managing spending and creating a budget. • In charge of scheduling and overseeing the founder's appointments, schedule, and travel • Generate weekly reports and make sure that KPIs in the areas of sales, marketing, finance, operations, and human resources are updated. • In order to maintain ideal stock levels and reduce waste, oversee inventory levels and the acquisition of stationary and non-consumable items. • Uphold your connections with vendors and suppliers to guarantee prompt delivery of goods and services. • Assist in coordinating the logistical and commercial activities. • Lead and motivate the FoH and ancillary staff while encouraging cooperation and a positive work atmosphere. • identifying the supplementary team's key performance metrics and evaluating the group's effectiveness • Help with hiring procedures, integrating new hires, and keeping track of personnel. • locating and assisting in the resolution of important issues or openings in corporate processes Relationship management and the consumer experience: • Overseeing the front-of-house operations to make sure that customers have an unforgettable meal and to improve customer satisfaction and the company's chocolate products. • Help arrange and schedule meals both on- and off-site at the corporate house. Oversee all front-of-house operations related to meals. • Oversee the fulfillment of chocolate product orders. • Respond to questions and comments from clients Keeping a high standard of client satisfaction • Encourage the upkeep and growth of connections with partners, stakeholders, and clients. Sales and Marketing: • Work together with the founder to spearhead marketing and sales initiatives in Ghana to guarantee the expansion of our enterprise in terms of dining services and chocolate sales by engaging in the following activities: • carry out marketing initiatives, • Organize social media profiles • Revise the webpage for the business. • aid in lead generation and prospecting for fresh business chances. • Help with the creation of marketing collateral, presentations, and business proposals. • Assist the founder with maintaining CRM databases, creating sales reports, and handling client inquiries. • To find new markets, client niches, and possible collaborations, conduct research. • To inform business strategy, analyze sales statistics, consumer input, and market trends.
• A bachelor's degree in management, business administration, or a similar discipline. • At least five to seven years of experience in a related position in sales, marketing, or business development. • Exceptional communication skills both in writing and speaking. • Strong analytical and research abilities. • Tech knowledgeable; familiarity with a range of programs (MS Word, Excel, and Google Suite) and apps (Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp). • Familiarity with platforms (squarespace, supersaas), CRM tools (Dubsado, Klaviyo) is a plus. • Expertise setting up and managing several teams or divisions at once in order to fulfill deadlines while maintaining standards. • Knowledge of developing and carrying out strategic projects • A quick learner who has a positive, solution-focused outlook that fosters initiative and resilience. • Motivated, competitive, and eager to surpass expectations. • Capacity to preserve discretion and secrecy.
