Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Generating Demand Executive to lead a team of sales promoters in expanding our market reach into rural towns and villages. This role is crucial for building brand awareness, activating consumers, and increasing product distribution and sales in under-served markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the activation team, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the success of field marketing and sales initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of 3-4 sales promoters, overseeing all aspects of their field activities including sales, consumer sampling, and local market activations. • Market Expansion: Identify potential rural markets for expansion, plan and execute visits to these areas to maximize brand exposure and product availability. • Sales and Promotion Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales and promotional strategies tailored to rural markets. Ensure that team activities align with the overall marketing and sales objectives. • Consumer Activation: Oversee and participate in consumer activation events designed to educate and engage potential customers, driving demand and product trial. • Training and Development: Train and motivate sales promoters on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement to enhance their performance. • Logistics Coordination: Manage logistics for the team, ensuring that all necessary promotional materials and products are available and transported safely to activation sites. • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of sales promotions, gather data on sales and customer feedback, and make adjustments to strategies as needed. • Reporting: Provide comprehensive reports on market activities, sales results, and team performance to upper management. • Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all team activities comply with company policies and local regulations, maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. • Proven experience in sales or marketing, preferably in a leadership role managing field teams. • Strong understanding of rural market dynamics and consumer behavior. • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Preferred Skills: • Ability to work independently and make decisions in challenging environments. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse team and rural communities. • Proficiency in local languages may be highly advantageous.
