Production Manager

Overview

Coordinating with internal and external partners to plan and carry out production projects using the proper procedures (documents, quality control checks, approvals, client procurement process compliance), and to provide finished assets in a timely and economical manner.

Responsibilities

• Properly schedule productions based on the allocated account portfolio. • Determine and oversee suppliers, estimates and expenses, scheduling and production planning. • Collaborate closely with the managers of the category leads. • Communicate both locally and throughout the African continent with outside vendors. • Sustain a positive working rapport with suppliers. • Make workflow and scheduling a priority to guarantee that work is completed precisely, on schedule, and in compliance with the brief. • Give prompt notice if a deadline is going to be missed or not fulfilled, and indicate any delays, difficulties, or problems with jobs. • Work together to fulfill production commitments and timelines.

Requirements

• Relevant postsecondary education • A minimum of five years' experience working as a production manager or traffic manager in an advertising agency or other comparable setting (such as radio), with one year spent in a mid-level position • Adept with Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Competent with Apple goods (i.e. Mac) • Familiarity with and expertise using Google Docs, Adobe Suite, Chase, and Chase Scheduler • Digital and TTL expertise are necessary. • A strong grasp of the written and spoken languages in English • Outstanding organizational and administrative abilities • Outstanding ability to handle time • Outstanding ability to multitask. • Recognize every field of communication. • Recognize advertising as a technique for sales. • Recognize new technologies and how to use them to the creative process.
