Overview

The role's objectives are to create, carry out, oversee, and assess brand plans. The ideal candidate will be able to lead networking and explain ideas to both internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

Putting into practice branded programs on time, such as merchandising, advertising, promotions, and publicity.

Designing and sourcing relevant materials in accordance with customer and consumer strategies and sourcing strategy 

Gathering information through research and data analysis to gain a deeper understanding of the target audience—including their needs, wants, location, and engagement tactics.

 
Creating and presenting concepts and plans to achieve customer and brand acquisition as well as brand growth. 


In charge of carrying out brand strategies (below and above the line) in accordance with predetermined plans for advertising and marketing.

Developing, carrying out, and overseeing integrated commercial planning in collaboration with other stakeholders

 

Bringing an organization's culture and internal marketing together 

Tracking brand performance and disclosing any gaps along with mitigation strategies 

 

Any additional relevant activity that will help reach goals for customer acquisition and brand expansion. 

 

Creating brand strategies and carrying out marketing campaigns to meet or beyond overall financial targets for the company 

 

Creating the long-term strategy for the brand, taking into account the target market, positioning, and USPs. 

 

Assistance in creating marketing strategies that align with long-term brand goals and objectives for the brands. 

 

Manage and oversee the implementation of all consumer communications, including as packaging, advertising, and promotions.

Requirements

A marketing degree, an MBA in marketing, membership in a professional body

 

At least five to ten years of work experience in a prominent fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company with exposure to media buying and market research are required. 

 

Computer literacy is also required, as is familiarity with word processing, excel, and PowerPoint software packages. 

 

Experience managing brands in the FMCG (food, beverage, and cosmetics industries) is also desirable.
