Program Manager for in-country project development, implementation, design, and oversight. Along with identifying and promoting program growth and development, the programme manager will work with colleagues and partners.
• Assisting partners by offering technical counsel and knowledge on the main areas of focus for the business's operations, as well as direction to guarantee project execution. • Assist in the creation and execution of national advocacy plans in accordance with projects, and speak on behalf of the business in the proper venues with partners and stakeholders. • Take the lead on partnership assessment projects, create a well-thought-out plan for enhancing partner capacity, and assist project officers in carrying it out. • In order to guarantee that project documentation and reporting is of the highest caliber and complies with donor and compliance criteria, supervise the work of the programme officers in managing all facets of the project cycle, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. • Make sure that the program's components are all properly tracked and assessed on a regular basis, and that learning is applied methodically to enhance all initiatives and programs both domestically and internationally. • Collaborate closely with the Senior Programme Manager and your finance team to oversee the project budget and spending, provide financial trend advice, and assist in enhancing partner funding capability. • Lead the program team in creating an office strategy that takes deadlines and national and organizational priorities into account. Then, use this plan to guarantee efficient program delivery moving forward. • Assist the Senior Programme Manager in incorporating personal and national experiences and learning into more extensive organisational learning and policy formulation. • Give guidance and support to national research teams so they can find possibilities for operational research to enhance the efficacy and efficiency of NTD elimination efforts, reduce avoidable blindness and visual impairment, and raise awareness of social inclusion concerns. • Help national and international project teams and health ministries of the participating countries share information about social inclusion and NTD initiatives, studies, research, and lessons learned. • Serve as the initial point of contact for any issues or occurrences pertaining to safeguarding.
• The ideal candidate will have a postgraduate degree in a relevant field, work experience, and extensive leadership experience in an NGO setting. They will also have a background in line and team management, as well as knowledge of resource management, budget creation and monitoring, and project design and management. • Additional prerequisites consist of; • Proficiency in research, effect assessment, collaboration formation, resource mobilization, and advocacy • outstanding ability to write reports • Experience developing strategic programs • Experience with safeguarding • knowledge of forming partnerships and fostering connections • Experience in advocacy • Working knowledge of government agencies and the MOH
