Overview

Building high-performing teams, managing cross-functional initiatives, utilizing data to make wise decisions, and optimizing resources are all part of the job description of a strategic leader. Responsibilities

• Strategic Operations Leadership: Create, put into place, and keep improving all FIA departments' operational procedures. • By creating a thorough operational excellence plan, you will guarantee alignment with the company's strategic objectives and cultivate a culture of ownership and cooperation. • Learn how to allocate and optimize resources, such as staff, machinery, finances, technology, and agricultural assets, in order to enhance productivity and accomplish organizational objectives. This entails finding ways to cut costs and putting sustainable resource management plans into action. • Project management: Take the lead and oversee important cross-functional projects, making sure they are completed on schedule, within budget, and with positive results. Your ability to handle projects well will be crucial in advancing strategic ambitions. • Making Decisions Based on Data: Encourage the creation and deployment of an all-inclusive data collection and analysis system. Utilize data insights to guide resource allocation, performance enhancement, and strategic decision-making across all departments. • Creating Effective Teams: play a significant part in establishing a productive and inspiring work atmosphere. In addition to overseeing talent acquisition, training, and development for all departments, your role will involve promoting an environment that values ownership, innovation, operational excellence, and continuous learning. • Develop into a master of stakeholder management by forging and upholding solid bonds with important parties such as partners, suppliers, distributors, and governmental organizations.

Requirements

• Five years or more of steadily increasing senior operations management experience in the agriculture or allied industries. • A track record of effectively managing and streamlining operations in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting. It is imperative to have a track record of attaining noteworthy expansion and enhanced efficiency via operational excellence endeavors. • Strong grasp of risk assessment, financial management, company strategy, and the African agricultural environment. • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities with the capacity to inspire, encourage, and establish enduring bonds with people at all levels as well as successfully influence stakeholders. • Shown expertise with data analysis tools, operational management software, and project management techniques. • Strategic thinking with an emphasis on long-term vision, innovation, and ongoing improvement.
