Overview

As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative fluent in both English and German, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to our English and German-speaking clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, concerns, and requests, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Your role will involve communicating effectively in both languages, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with internal teams to address customer needs and enhance overall service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance via phone, email, and live chat in both English and German languages.
  • Handle customer requests, complaints, and escalations with professionalism and empathy, striving to exceed customer expectations.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, including details of inquiries, resolutions, and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales, technical support, and billing, to address customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide product information, troubleshooting assistance, and guidance on using our services to customers in both English and German.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures to effectively assist customers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and procedures to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in training sessions and ongoing development programs to enhance language proficiency and customer service skills.
  • Adhere to established service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards for customer support interactions.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing insights and best practices with colleagues.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both English and German languages, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Previous experience in customer service, call center, or related roles preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in customer service or languages a plus.
