DRIVER

Overview

A driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers, goods, or materials from one location to another. This involves operating a vehicle, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations, and ensuring the timely delivery of passengers or cargo.

Responsibilities

1. Take instructions from the Driver Team Supervisor
2. Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers.
3. Load and unload cargo.
4. Record cargo deliveries.
5. Follow traffic laws.
6. Refuel and clean inside the vehicle.
7. Be present and actively involved in the counting of cargo during load and unload of cargo.
8. Follow accident procedures.
9. Inspect trucks and record issues.
10. Get goods to the client on time.
11. Maintain a positive attitude with customers.
12. Keep commercial driver license up to date.

Requirements

Minimum of SHS education
Minimum of 3 years experience with cargo truck driving
Intermediate Oral and written communication
Minimum of “C”
Ability to fit in a multicultural environment.
