In order to carry out communications strategies, including the creation, development, and distribution of strong communications products, events, and campaigns, the Communications Advisor will supervise a group of communication consultants that include editors, graphic designers, GIS specialists, multi-media editors, and event specialists. This role will establish deadlines, make sure they are met, and inform stakeholders and project personnel about them. In order to ensure agreement on scopes, visions, and schedules, this role will work closely with CLAMP technical advisors and directly connect with customers.
• Oversee the creation and distribution of strong communication campaigns and products as well as the execution of CLAMP Activity communication strategies, all while maintaining client alignment. • Specify the goals, parameters, and deliverables of the communications project. • Oversee the production of a variety of communication materials, including newsletters, reports, infographics, posters, banners, briefings, one-pagers, and multimedia products (such as films), that effectively transmit complicated information and data. • Establish team culture, methods, and standard operating procedures for communications, along with a learning and development environment. • Assist CLAMP personnel in coordinating and carrying out project events. Collaborate with event planners and other relevant parties to guarantee that events are organized, publicized, and overseen in accordance with the project's overall communication objectives and tactics. • oversee the creation of communications goods, act as a project manager for communication consultants, or work as a part-time To generate high-quality goods that are delivered on schedule, flexal copywriters, communications professionals, copyeditors, multi-media editors, graphic designers, GIS specialists, 508 compliance specialists, and others are needed. • Make that all resources, initiatives, and gatherings adhere to USAID branding guidelines, are accessible, and comply with Section 508. • Track the effectiveness of campaigns, events, and communications products, and use analytics to pinpoint areas for improvement. • Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and coworkers to guarantee that objectives and outputs are in line. • As new procedures are required, create them to assist the communications team. • Make that project staffing and allocation tracking are done correctly. • Collaborate with GIS experts to convey pertinent map information. • Engage in client forums and events to represent the company well and cultivate and sustain connections within the industry. • Contribute actively to the acquisition of new clients as needed by endorsing business development plans that will improve and expand Bixal's operations throughout all of its business domains. • Carry out additional responsibilities or unique tasks as given.
• A bachelor's degree • A minimum of eight years' experience creating, overseeing, and carrying out communication plans and campaigns; prior experience directing USAID communications is preferable. • Superb project management abilities, including the capacity to set reasonable deadlines, supervise consultants and part-time employees, and guarantee relevant and prompt customer feedback. • Professional working knowledge in both English and French. • Experience managing a group of consultants with a focus on communications, including graphic designers, editors, GIS experts, events specialists, and professionals in 508 compliance. • In facilitating the success of a variety of events, from huge conferences with more than 200 participants to workshops with less than 20 participants • Possess understanding of Ghanaian and West African culture and setting, as well as the ability to foster a healthy work environment and appreciate colleagues' development and abilities. • Capacity to provide constructive criticism • Outstanding writing abilities with the capacity to write for a range of audiences and subject matters • Capacity to develop communication strategies, identify target markets, and produce and distribute goods suited to those particular markets • Proficiency in recognizing, monitoring, and evaluating metrics; ability to adjust strategies in response to outcomes; cross-cultural and multilingualism • Proficiency in collaborating with both American and Ghanaian remote workers; familiarity with event locations, printers, and other outside vendors
