Product Design Intern

Overview

A top cybersecurity firm working to develop a single, comprehensive platform for SMBs in Africa. Our goal is to enable any organization to easily, affordably, and comprehend cybersecurity. You will be instrumental in creating powerful and user-friendly user experiences that make cybersecurity management easier for our consumers as a Product Designer Intern.

Responsibilities

• Work together with the development team and product management to identify and implement creative solutions for the experience, graphics, and direction of the product. • Complete every step of the visual design process, from conception to final developer handoff. • Create novel concepts that simplify and make complicated design obstacles more approachable. • Develop site maps, user flows, process flows, storyboards, and wireframes to convey design concepts and interactions. • To improve and maximize the user experience, gather user insights and assess user comments. • Help choose the right design and usability metrics for the tasks at hand.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BA/BS degree or above in graphic design, interaction design, interface design, communication design, or a closely related discipline; or having just graduated from one of these programs. • Proven UI design abilities with a robust portfolio that includes both freelancing and school-related work. • Proficiency with wire framing and graphic design tools, such as Figma. • Outstanding ability to create visually while being cognizant of user-system interaction. • Current in regard to UI trends, approaches, and technology. • Proficient in interpersonal communication and capable of operating in a group setting.
