The person in charge of overseeing the creation and administration of all retail investment products is the team lead for retail investment products. In order to hit sales and profit goals, it also entails actively participating in sales and actively assisting the marketing and sales staff in managing campaigns.
• Oversees all facets of retail product management, including technology, compliance, sales and marketing, and operational effectiveness. • Creates and implements a deposit strategy to meet growth objectives for both cost of funds and deposit growth. • Make thorough evaluations of the investment requirements of IFML clients and offer suitable investment advising services. • Keeps an eye on the capital market's current trends and evaluates the state of the market before implementing a retail investment plan to maintain and grow the company's competitive advantage. • Examines the available retail investment goods and services to find ways to enhance, modify, or grow the portfolio. • Gives supervisor weekly updates. • Achieve or surpass sales goals and targets while proactively looking for new business prospects and recommendations to grow your clientele. • Ensure positive public relations with both present and potential clients. • Evaluates, suggests, and carries out marketing strategies to satisfy the strategic goals of retail banking. • Assume leadership responsibility for all of the company's retail products. Collaboration: • Provides strategic leadership to promote a profitable sales experience across all retail markets while increasing customer value. • Leads the instruction and consistent execution of sales strategies to enhance corporate sales culture. • Acts as lead integrator of consumer business partners (digital investment strategies and wealth management) • Works in coordination with other departments as needed. • Collaborates and aligns Retail investment with Accounts, Compliance, and other partners as appropriate, to create, enhance, and maintain current procedures for retail investment banking. People Management: • Promotes a culture of outstanding employee performance through ongoing engagement and talent development to improve retention and build a roster of future leaders. • Coaches’ team members at both the individual and team level to improve retail banking performance. • Assists in training and retention of high-quality employees committed to a culture of best-in-class customer service. Compliance: • Adheres to corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements. • Completes all required training. • Actively communicates matters of potential audit or compliance risk.
• A good first degree in any discipline. Relevant master’s degree and professional qualification will be an added advantage discipline. • 5-10 years retail banking or insurance experience of which should have been in a supervisory position with strong financial acumen. • Excellent depth of knowledge and understanding of Retail investment products • Strong experience in investment banking or insurance • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Candidate should be innovative, organized, and able to execute the necessary steps to achieve the strategic vision. • SEC Licensed investment representative (not mandatory) • Demonstrates strong motivational, time management, multi-tasking, problem-solving, presentation and organizational skills. Ability to be detail oriented. • Demonstrates leadership and relationship management skills with superior ability to execute using influence, negotiation, and consensus building. • Ability to drive results. • Strong strategic and analytical mindset.
