Rider

Overview

Daily delivery duties as a Rider will include package pickup and delivery, making sure deliveries are made on schedule and accurately, and keeping the packages safe and secure. You'll be working out of Accra and playing a crucial role in our delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle and follow traffic laws. • Deliver packages or goods to the correct destinations in a timely manner. • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers. • Ensure that packages or goods are handled with care to prevent damage. • Keep accurate records of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery. • Communicate effectively with dispatchers or supervisors regarding any issues or delays. • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure roadworthiness. • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and safety guidelines. • Efficiently plan routes to optimize delivery times and minimize fuel consumption. • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Expertise handling packages and providing delivery services • Familiarity with Accra, Tema, and Kasoa local routes and locations • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities • Capacity to function effectively in a hectic, deadline-driven setting Excellent accuracy and detail-oriented • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities • Ability to operate both individually and collaboratively with a valid driver's license and a spotless driving record
