Overview

As an analyst in investment banking, you'll be responsible for conducting financial analysis, creating financial models, preparing pitch materials, conducting industry research, assisting in due diligence, supporting deal execution, collaborating with teams, monitoring market trends, developing client relationships, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling: To assess possible transactions, valuations, and financial outcomes, develop and analyze intricate financial models.
• Market research: To give insightful information, thoroughly investigate market conditions, competitive performance, and industry trends.
• Due Diligence: Examine financial statements, court records, and other pertinent data to help identify risks and opportunities as you support due diligence procedures.
• Presentation Creation: Create pitch books and presentations with market data, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations for client meetings.
• Transaction support is the provision of assistance in carrying out deals, including handling administrative duties including coordination, documentation, and communication with other parties.
• Data analysis: To aid in decision-making, examine data, make inferences, and report findings.
• Interact with clients to learn about their needs, exchange information, and provide them updates on current transactions.
• Effectively communicate with the team and the clients at all times to make sure that everyone is aware of the status and updates of the project.
• Teamwork: To guarantee seamless deal execution, cooperate with coworkers from different departments and other working parties.

Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a similar discipline is a minimum requirement.
• Work experience: It is very helpful to have prior internships or employment in finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or similar industries.
• Essential Requirement: finished the course on the Ghanaian securities industry.
• Outstanding quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Advanced knowledge in PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills both in writing and speaking.
• Capacity to oversee several projects in a hectic setting.
• Excellent planning and time-management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
