Chief Technology Officer

Overview

With a major focus on our cloud environment and infrastructure, you will be an essential component of the executive leadership team as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), responsible for developing and implementing our technology strategy. You will oversee technological innovation, lead with vision, and guarantee the creation of innovative solutions that propel the business forward. Technical know-how, strategic vision, and potent leadership abilities are necessary for this position, with an emphasis on AWS.

Responsibilities

AWS Cloud Expertise: • Utilize your extensive knowledge of AWS services to maximize the performance of our cloud infrastructure. • Make sure that the security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of AWS resources are all properly controlled. Technology Strategy: • Create and implement the organization's technological plan, keeping a close eye on AWS and in line with the overarching business goals. • Encourage innovation and spot chances for technological advancements in the cloud environment. Technical Leadership: • Give the technology teams’ technical direction and leadership while putting an emphasis on AWS best practices. • Keep abreast of developments in the field, new AWS services, and security protocols. • Team Management: • Manage, coach, and lead tech teams while cultivating a collaborative, innovative, and exceptional AWS expertise culture. • Acquire and hold onto elite technical personnel with necessary AWS competencies. Product Development: • In charge of overseeing the creation of software products and solutions, make sure they are optimized for AWS environments. • Encourage the creation of software systems that are safe, dependable, and scalable by making full use of cloud resources. • The software development life cycle can be managed by applying agile project management techniques. Infrastructure and Security: • Oversee the organization's AWS cloud infrastructure, making sure that security, dependability, and data protection are met. • Create business continuity and disaster recovery plans tailored to AWS. Budget and Resource Management: • Create and oversee the technology budget, making the best use of AWS resources in terms of resource allocation. • Assure economical acquisition of AWS services.

Requirements

• A track record of success as a chief technology officer or in a senior technology leadership role, specializing in cloud settings. • Extensive familiarity with AWS architecture, services, and best practices. • Strong management and leadership abilities, proven ability to create and manage high-achieving technical teams. • Familiarity with carrying out the ISO certification procedure. • The capacity to convert business objectives into technological solutions through strategic thinking, especially with regard to AWS. • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities. • Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline (recommended). • Agile project management approach experience is advantageous.
