Account Receivable Officer

Overview

After being hired successfully, you will be in charge of checking daily sales invoices and their accompanying documentation, then entering them into the Tally ERP system. In order to guarantee that payments are received within the prearranged conditions and that the appropriate withholding tax is subtracted, he or she will oversee the local accounts receivable. He or she should be able to compile financial data into balance sheets and profit and loss statements, along with the associated cash flow, and possess a fundamental understanding of budgeting and the budgetary process.

Responsibilities

• Make sure the lead schedule and the cashier's daily sales invoices for services and replacement parts match. • Accurately enter sales invoices into the appropriate customer account in the receivable ledger within the Tally ERP system. • In responsibility of overseeing the timely receipt and entry of bills into the Tally ERP System, as well as the management of the local accounts payable. • Capacity to uphold and oversee the fixed asset registry • Capacity to create a journal entry and possess a solid grasp of fundamental accounting concepts • In charge of creating the cash flow statement, balance sheet, and profit and loss reports. • Possess a solid understanding of the budget preparation process in addition to having a foundational understanding of budget preparation.

Requirements

o A Minimum of 1st Degree in Accounting with minimum of three (3) years industry related working experience, a student member of ICA or ACCA will be an added advantage.
