In the media sector, your job as a sales and marketing executive is to use strategic sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and brand awareness. As you cultivate strong bonds with clients, advertisers, and partners and take advantage of company expansion opportunities, you will be a key player in pushing media products and services.
• Create and put into action sales strategies to hit revenue goals and increase market share for media-related goods and services. • Through proactive prospecting and networking, find new business prospects, nurture leads, and create a strong sales pipeline. • To stay abreast of market trends, client demands, and new prospects, conduct competitive analysis and market research. • To understand the needs, goals, and advertising requirements of clients, advertisers, agencies, and partners, establish and develop effective connections. • Work together with the creative team to create and carry out integrated marketing campaigns, promotions, and campaigns that increase audience engagement and brand exposure. • To efficiently reach target consumers, use a combination of traditional and digital marketing channels, such as social media, email marketing, content marketing, and events. • Ensure that clients, internal teams, and external partners are seamlessly coordinated throughout the planning, execution, and delivery of advertising campaigns. • In order to improve campaign efficacy and return on investment, track campaign performance, evaluate important metrics, and offer insights and improvement suggestions. • Create frequent analytics, performance dashboards, and sales reports to monitor your progress toward sales goals, assess the success of your campaigns, and pinpoint areas that need work. • Conduct customer debriefings and post-campaign analyses to get input, gauge satisfaction, and spot upselling and renewal chances. • To foster contacts, remain up to date on industry trends, and establish the company as a thought leader in the media space, attend conferences, networking events, and industry events. • To improve the company's exposure and reputation, contribute to blogs, forums, and industry publications by discussing trends, insights, and best practices.
• HND in media studies, business administration, marketing, or a similar discipline. Having a master's degree helps • Two years or more of demonstrated experience in media sector sales, marketing, or advertising roles with a track record of hitting sales goals and accelerating revenue growth • Strong negotiating, presentation, and communication abilities, as well as the capacity to clearly explain complicated concepts and solutions. • A data-driven decision-making approach based on an analytical mentality and the capacity to evaluate data and produce insights. • Possessing a passion for media and marketing innovation, strategic vision, and creative thinking. • Having a way to get about is advantageous.
