Overview

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth within the Ghanaian market. The role requires a strong understanding of consumer behavior, digital marketing, and the mobile phone industry, with the ability to localize global brand strategies to fit the Ghanaian context.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing plans tailored to the Ghanaian market, integrating both digital and traditional channels.
  • Manage brand positioning and ensure all messaging aligns with local cultural nuances, trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Oversee and manage social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Business), including planning and executing targeted advertising campaigns to drive engagement, traffic, and conversions.
  • Coordinate the development of high-quality marketing materials such as English slogans, localized advertising copy, graphics, and multimedia content.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for growth.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns, ensuring performance targets and ROI are achieved.
  • Identify, engage, and manage relationships with local influencers, media houses, and strategic partners to expand brand reach and visibility.
  • Support product launches and promotional activities for mobile phones and accessories across multiple channels.
  • Track campaign performance and provide regular reports with actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Membership or certification from Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) or Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM, UK).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant marketing experience in the Mobile Phone, Electronics, Tech industry.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, including SEO/SEM.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to create compelling and culturally relevant content.
  • Strong ability to interpret market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Solid understanding of the Ghanaian consumer market, trends, and media landscape.
