IT Manager

Overview

You will be in charge of overseeing daily IT operations, leading the IT staff, and making sure that technological solutions are implemented throughout the organization as the IT manager.

Responsibilities

• Create and carry out the organization's IT strategy while making sure it complies with overarching business objectives. Oversee and guide the IT staff to achieve project goals and boost productivity. • Oversee the development, deployment, and upkeep of the business's network infrastructure, which includes cloud services, software, and hardware. Make sure all IT systems are secure and scalable. • Projects including software deployments, system updates, and new technology integrations should be planned, coordinated, and carried out. Oversee project costs, schedules, and materials. • To safeguard the organization's data, infrastructure, and intellectual property, make sure that strong cybersecurity procedures are put in place. Keep an eye on and evaluate security threats and compliance needs. • Give employees technical help and direction on IT-related matters. Diagnose, diagnose, and fix complicated IT issues quickly. • Work together with outside suppliers and service providers to guarantee the acquisition of top-notch IT hardware, software, and services. Manage your connections with IT vendors and negotiate contracts. • To guarantee company continuity in the event of data loss or system failures, create and maintain backup procedures and disaster recovery plans. • Oversee the professional growth of the IT staff through mentorship, performance reviews, and training. Encourage a creative and cooperative atmosphere.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar discipline. A master's degree is advantageous. • Five years or more of experience in IT management or a related field, with a track record of successfully managing teams, overseeing complex IT projects, and managing IT infrastructure. • Strong familiarity with cloud services, systems administration, networking, and IT security procedures. • Competence in hardware, corporate software, and operating systems (Windows, Linux). • Familiarity with disaster recovery, data backup, and recovery solutions. • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques, such as Agile and Scrum.
