Forklift Operator

Overview

Packing, material handling, shipping and receiving, unloading, and forklift operation will all fall within the purview of the forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Maneuvering forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials while following safety regulations. • Lifting and stacking pallets, crates, and other materials efficiently in warehouses or job sites. • Performing routine checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition and reporting any malfunctions. • Moving stock to designated areas and keeping records of inventory movements. • Adhering to company policies and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety. • Supporting general warehouse tasks, such as organizing storage areas and helping with order fulfillment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in shipping and receiving, material handling, unloading, packing, and forklift operation; familiarity with warehouses and logistics environments; and the capacity to operate a forklift safely and effectively • A keen eye for detail • Strength and endurance • Having a forklift operation certification is advantageous.
