Technical Operator

Overview

The job holder will operate the designated machinery and make sure it is always maintained and operating smoothly to prevent production interruptions. In order to ensure that the machinery is running at its best, coordinate with and assist all production and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Start and stop the designated manufacturing equipment on a daily or regular basis. • In charge of machine operation and lubricant application. • Continue to keep an eye on the designated machinery's performance in order to identify, document, and notify supervisors of any irregularities pertaining to sound, speed, and functioning. • Check for any negative reports or obstacles in the downtime report from the previous shift. • Help in the installation and conversion of plants. • Before manufacturing begins, make sure the Quality Assurance Department reviews all samples and certifies the product. • Create maintenance and production reports, then provide them to the managers of production and maintenance. • When required, do comprehensive maintenance on the allocated machinery to keep it in excellent working order. • Carry out any additional tasks that may sometimes be allocated.

Requirements

• Electrical or mechanical engineering HND. • Three years or more of job experience. • Mechanical and electrical safety certification • Excellent troubleshooting abilities. • Practical understanding of IS0 9001. • The capacity to adjust to change and collaborate with others. • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. • Excellent troubleshooting abilities. • Strong attention to detail and organizing abilities.
