Overview

This person will oversee all facets of marketing, including product launches, digital marketing, market expansion, brand management, and consumer analytics.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: To accomplish marketing goals, lead and oversee a group of marketing experts in three different markets.
• Create and carry out regional marketing strategies that complement the overarching commercial goals of the organisation.
• Brand Product Management: Launch goods and services in close collaboration with the product team.
• In charge of brand positioning, make sure it is consistent and appealing to the target market.
• Market Insights & Innovation: Conduct market research and evaluate consumer insights to guide marketing initiatives by combining strategy and insight.
• Building team capacity through skill development and succession planning is the goal of team management and development.
• Encourage cooperation amongst cross-functional groups, such as production, R&D, and sales.
• Budgeting and Performance Management: Create and oversee regional marketing budgets.
• Monitor and evaluate important marketing performance indicators, then modify your approach as necessary.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and preserve connections with important parties, such as agencies, partners, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Marketing, business administration, or a similar discipline at the bachelor's degree level (MBA recommended).
• Ten years or more of marketing experience, at least three of which must have been spent in a senior management or leadership position in the FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of the region's FMCG marketplaces, consumer trends, and cultural quirks.
• Outstanding team management and leadership abilities.
• Analytical mentality with the capacity to understand information and convert it into workable plans.
• Competence with social media and digital marketing.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capable strategic thinker who can handle several priorities in a hectic setting.
• Strong analytical abilities that use data to inform choices.
