Data and Carbon Market Analyst Manager

Overview

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced manager to oversee our organization's efforts in data analysis and carbon market strategy. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of professional experience. This position is essential to managing carbon market activities and advancing data-driven decision-making processes. The ideal applicant will be well-versed in data analysis, carbon markets, and the pursuit of making well-informed decisions that will have a good environmental impact. 

Responsibilities

Oversee the gathering, interpretation, and analysis of data on market trends, sustainability measures, and carbon emissions by a group of analysts. 
Apply cutting-edge analytical methods to extract knowledge that guides strategic choices. 
Create and put into action plans for engaging in the carbon markets, which will involve trading carbon credits. 
To identify opportunities and hazards, stay up to date on global carbon market trends, policies, and regulations. 
Perform in-depth market research on carbon pricing schemes, programs to reduce emissions, and other environmental issues. 
Provide analysis and suggestions based on market research to help the company achieve its sustainability objectives. 
To evaluate the financial effects of carbon market transactions and sustainability activities, develop and manage financial models. 
Work together with the finance teams to guarantee accurate forecasting and financial reporting.

Requirements

A master's degree in environmental science, economics, data science, or a similar discipline. 
Five years or more of experience working professionally in data analysis, carbon markets, or a similar industry. 
Strong command of statistical modeling and data analysis technologies. 
Thorough understanding of sustainability criteria, offset procedures, and carbon markets. 
Familiarity in financial analysis and modeling. 
It is necessary to be proficient with MS Office, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint. 
At least three years of expertise with DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, RDS, SQL, NoSQL, and RDBMS. 
Five years of expertise in AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Ansible, Chef, or Terraform cloud technologies.
