Overview

As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and maximizing sales opportunities for the organization. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a sales team to achieve targets, developing and implementing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with clients. Additionally, you will be instrumental in identifying market trends, evaluating competitor activity, and providing valuable insights to senior management. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in sales management, and a strategic mindset to drive success in a competitive market environment.

Responsibilities

- Oversee the sales operations for Fuso, Mercedes Trucks, and Buses.

- Monitor and optimize margins and profitability within the truck sales department.

- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the Trucks Sales Department.

- Cultivate and manage customer relationships effectively.

- Lead and supervise the truck sales team.

- Ensure proper utilization of communication equipment and manufacturer information by the truck sales team.

- Uphold professionalism and effective communication with customers and internal staff within the Trucks sales department.

- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely reports and analyses to management, manufacturers, and suppliers.

- Recommend enhancements in facilities, equipment, and procedures within the Trucks sales department.

- Address customer queries and complaints promptly and efficiently using departmental resources.

- Develop and implement marketing strategies in collaboration with the General Manager - Equipment to drive sales growth.

- Conduct regular meetings with the General Manager - Equipment to address and resolve sales-related issues.

- Foster and uphold a safe and clean working environment within the Trucks sales department.

- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures by all departmental staff.

- Manage the performance of the truck sales team, including setting goals and objectives.

- Assess and identify training needs and requirements for departmental staff.

- Perform any additional duties assigned by the company.
