Demand planning, supply management, procurement, and applying analytical abilities to guarantee efficient sourcing and supply of mining supplies and equipment are among the duties included in the position.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals. • Conduct market research, analyze trends and identify opportunities for cost savings. • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine procurement needs. • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price and reliability. • Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions. • Manage supplier relationships, performance and compliance. • Coordinate purchasing processes, including requisitions, RFQs and POs. • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. • Resolve order discrepancies and supply chain issues.
