• For building projects, provide comprehensive design plans, drawings, and technical requirements. • Work together with contractors, architects, and other engineers to make sure project designs live up to client expectations and necessary requirements. • To ascertain if a project is feasible, conduct site assessments that include cost estimates and evaluations of the environmental effect. • In order to guarantee that construction projects are finished on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards, oversee and manage each phase of the project. • To guarantee that the project is carried out smoothly, coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders. • Track and report on the status of the project, keeping track of all construction-related expenses, plans, and timelines. • Make certain that all construction activities adhere to environmental laws, safety requirements, and building codes. • Make routine checks of the building site to find and fix any problems or nonconformities. • Compile and send the necessary reports and paperwork to clients and regulatory agencies. • Determine, examine, and address any construction-related problems that could come up while the project is underway. • Assist the project team with technical matters and make sure all engineering work is done in accordance with best practices. • Project timelines and plans should be modified as needed to account for unforeseen difficulties or changes in the project's scope. • Serve as a liaison between the internal project team, clients, and contractors. • Inform all stakeholders of the project's status, difficulties, and accomplishments in an effective manner. • Arrange for clients and other project stakeholders to attend meetings and site inspections.
• Civil engineering bachelor's degree or a similar degree. Having a master's degree helps. • Three to five years of civil engineering experience, preferably in project management for building projects. • A track record of successfully managing, organizing, and designing big construction projects. • Expertise with engineering software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and associated programs. • Strong familiarity with building supplies, techniques, and laws. • Familiarity with project management tools, such as Primavera and MS Project.
