Tax and Compliance Officer

Overview

The Tax and Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization is in compliance with all tax laws and regulations, and that all tax filings are accurate and submitted on time

Responsibilities

• Is responsibility of overseeing all firm compliances, both tax and non-tax • Maintain communication with tax authorities and other regulatory offices. • Collaborate closely with the corporate legal team and legal counsel on all legal concerns, such as reviews, resolutions, contracts, debt collection cases, and other litigation. • Work together with stakeholders to ensure that all relevant tax rules and regulations are followed in order to minimize risk. • Collaborate closely on customs bonded operations and compliances with the finance and supply chain teams. • Overseeing the review, negotiation, and renewal of the organization's insurance contracts • Any additional compliance and risk management tasks that may occasionally be allocated

Requirements

• First degree, with an MBA as a bonus • Completely Certified Tax Professional (CITG Member) • Six years of tax experience • Good communication and leadership abilities • FMCG background
