Overview

The job holder is in charge of organizing construction projects and monitoring their advancement in a timely and economical manner. They are also in charge of supervising all facility installation, maintenance, and repair activities. Making ensuring the company's facilities are adequate and well-maintained to support its commercial activities is the aim.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and oversee building projects from start to finish. • Examine the project in detail to plan deliverables and determine budget. • Draft contracts, negotiate terms of agreements, and secure licenses and permissions. • fulfill the performance requirements outlined in the contract. • Make a plan in advance to avoid issues and address those that may arise. • Assess, control, and reduce risks. • Make sure that appropriate building techniques are used, and that quality requirements are met. • Create maintenance protocols and make sure they are followed. • Conduct facility inspections in order to find and fix problems. • Make that the building's hydraulic and electrical systems are operating properly. • Organize and supervise every installation and maintenance task. • Control the connections you have with service providers and contractors. • Create cost projections and oversee spending plans. • Keep an eye on spending and manage the budget. • Keep an eye on any construction, both on and off site, to ensure that all building and safety codes are being followed. • Establish and uphold health and safety regulations while working. • Prepare job status reports for both internal and external audiences. • Report on daily operations and maintain maintenance logs. • Make sure the maintenance crew, inspectors, and other employees of the organization follow specified quality protocols when doing their tasks.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a similar discipline. • A track record of success in construction management, maintenance management, or a related managerial position. • Advanced understanding of planned maintenance operations, means, and techniques, as well as construction management procedures. • A thorough understanding of building materials, construction specifics, and pertinent laws, norms, and quality standards. • awareness of every component involved in the building process. • Knowledge of software for construction management. • Strong technical knowledge in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, among other areas.
