Overview

In order to guarantee the safety and security of workers, guests, and property, the facility Security Supervisor is in charge of managing the security measures inside the facility. In order to stop theft, vandalism, and other criminal activity, this function entails leading the security team, organizing security measures, and handling security occurrences.

Responsibilities

• Create and put into effect security guidelines, practices, and regulations that are unique to manufacturing operations. • Keep an eye on and assess factory security measures, such as access control, CCTV, and alarms. • Perform routine audits and security checks on the plant grounds. • Make sure security equipment is maintained and used properly. • React to crises, alerts, and security lapses in the factory as an incident. • Investigate incidents and write thorough incident reports. • When required, communicate with emergency services and police enforcement. • Take corrective measures to stop similar occurrences from happening again. • Hire, develop, and manage security personnel. • Assign security responsibilities and plan shifts inside the factory. • Perform performance reviews and offer constructive criticism. • Make sure that all corporate rules, processes, and legal requirements are followed. • Determine any possible weaknesses or security hazards in the factory. • Create and put into action risk-reduction initiatives. • Make suggestions for enhancements and conduct routine risk assessments. • Verify that health and safety laws are being followed.

Requirements

• A high school degree or its equivalent is required; further certification in security management or a similar topic is advantageous. • demonstrable experience supervising security, ideally in an industrial or factory environment. • expertise in organizing and carrying out emergency responses. • strong managerial and leadership abilities. • outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities. • Capacity to remain composed and composed under pressure. • Familiarity with factory-specific security processes and protocols. • Proficiency with tools and technology related to security. • The capacity to walk and stand for long periods of time. • The ability to act fast in an emergency. • Physical capability to carry out tasks as needed.
