Overseeing local HR (hiring, employee records, payroll, etc.) and Administration operations, putting annual HR/Admin objectives and projects into action, managing HR/Admin staff, adhering to local laws and regulations, negotiating and cooperating with labor unions and local authorities in the best interests of the business, developing OPEX & CAPEX for management approval, managing resources cost-effectively, and contracting and managing suppliers and vendors are among the primary responsibilities.
• While adhering to established procurement procedures and regulations, meet specific procurement goals in support of business and facility management standards. • Examine job requirements, use social media and database resources to draw applicants, then screen and choose the best ones. Find, draw, interview, and sift applicants for lower- and middle-level available positions. • Establish productive working connections with representatives of the local union and/or works council; create briefing materials to facilitate official consultations and negotiations. • Complete a variety of HR data processing activities as assigned; counsel coworkers and offer procedural help as necessary. • Assist in promoting awareness and commitment among stakeholders by identifying them, learning about their needs, challenges, and concerns, and responding to them by setting up events and meetings and creating supporting materials. • Participate in the creation, testing, and upkeep of protocols and guidelines to aid the company in implementing and adhering to internal and/or external regulations. • Provide timely and correct payroll processing; enter and keep payroll data; verify payrolls for completeness before submitting; prepare intricate manual payments as needed; finalize the financial reconciliations • As agreed upon with management and finance, create and implement an HR budget. Perform in-depth evaluations of budgetary progress. • Create and present your own performance goals, assign suitable goals to your direct reports, and ensure that they are met.
