Overview
To oversee all financial tasks of the organization and ensure efficient and effective use of capital and resources. Head of Finance responsibilities include creating forecasting models and ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations. To be successful in this role, the jobholder should have experience crafting financial strategies and managing accounting teams. The jobholder is responsible for maintaining the organization’s financial health and increase profitability in the long run.
Responsibilities
- Provide sound management to the Finance Department.
- Manage and maintain sound internal control system.
- Manage year end statutory obligations.
- Provide relevant contribution to business strategy formulation and implementation.
Requirements
- Certified Accountant with a minimum of 10+ years’ relevant work experience in finance or auditing
- Prior process improvement experience is required.
- Managerial experience in a Life Insurance Company will be an added advantage
