Looking for a proactive and capable program manager to oversee the creation, execution, and assessment of our initiatives. The Program Manager will be essential in creating and overseeing initiatives that support young women's self-determination, leadership development, and empowerment. The Program Manager will also be in charge of compliance, grant administration, proposal writing, and grant making.
• Oversee the creation and execution of activities, which include leadership development projects, educational workshops, and mentoring programs. • Strategic Planning: Create goals and strategies for program growth and expansion in collaboration with the leadership team, keeping in mind the mission and goals of the organization. • Program Implementation: Manage all program-related activities, such as volunteer coordination, participant recruiting, scheduling, and logistics. • Partnership Development: To enhance program delivery and participant involvement, cultivate and sustain relationships with educational institutions, neighborhood associations, and other stakeholders. • Grant Opportunities & Proposal Development: Find grant opportunities, draft grant proposals, and get funding to support program operations and activities. Create strong proposals that meet the needs and goals of the funders. • Grant Administration and Compliance: Oversee grant funding, keep tabs on grant expenditures, and make sure the terms and conditions of the grant are followed. In charge of grant compliance initiatives, prepare grant reports and supporting paperwork for donors. • Volunteer Management: Assist in securing program success and participant satisfaction by recruiting, training, and managing program mentors and volunteers. • Monitoring, assessment, and Reporting: Create and put into action frameworks for program assessment in order to gauge the results and effect of your effort. Prepare reports and presentations on a regular basis for partners, donors, and internal stakeholders. • Budget Management: Oversee program spending, keep an eye on costs, and make sure resources are used effectively to meet program objectives. • Community Engagement: Participate in events, network with stakeholders, and represent in the community while advancing the goals and initiatives of the organization. • Advocacy: Promote women's empowerment, gender equality, and the abolition of violence and prejudice based on a person's gender. Work together with interested parties to sway laws and policies. Organize initiatives to change societal norms and build a culture that values and accepts women and girls.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as business administration, gender studies, community development, nonprofit management, education, or social work. A master's degree is recommended. • Five years minimum of program management experience, ideally in the charity sector. • Proven track record in creating, implementing, and assessing programs. • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to uplift and encourage others. • Outstanding ability to manage time and organize tasks while paying close attention to details. • Proficiency in collaborating with heterogeneous groups and a dedication to fairness and inclusivity. • Proficiency with the financial systems, grant tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and software and tools for program assessment.
